What FUMBR is

FUMBR lets creators publish a page describing a project and accept direct financial support from their audience. FUMBR is a platform only — we are not a party to the relationship between a creator and their supporters, and we do not guarantee that any project will be completed.

Creator accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating a page.
  • You are responsible for the content of your project page and for delivering on what you represent to supporters.
  • Payouts are handled by Stripe Connect. You must complete Stripe’s own identity verification to receive funds.
  • FUMBR takes a 5% platform fee on each pledge, in addition to Stripe’s own processing fees.

Supporters

Pledges are a direct payment to a creator to support their project, not a purchase of goods or a guarantee of any specific outcome. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Prohibited use

You may not use FUMBR for fraud, to solicit funds under false pretenses, to launder money, or for any illegal purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or Stripe’s own platform rules.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, FUMBR is not liable for a creator’s failure to deliver on a project, for disputes between creators and supporters, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
